from the superintendent
Dear Students, Parents, and Families,
Welcome to the 2026–27 school year!
On behalf of the entire Colquitt County School District, I am excited to welcome you back. Whether you are returning to familiar hallways or joining our community for the very first time, we are so glad you are here and proud to call you a part of Packer Nation!
This year, we are continuing our "ONE" theme in an effort to achieve "excellence for every ONE and everyONE." This reflects our belief that we achieve collective greatness (everyONE) only when we recognize, value, and nurture the unique potential, strengths, and voice of each individual student (every ONE). No matter which school you attend or what role you play, we are united as one team—bound by shared values, open communication, and a shared mission to support student success.
As we embark on this exciting journey together, our core values and foundation for excellence remain stronger than ever:
- Safe and Positive Learning Environment: Maintaining a safe, positive environment with a focus on both academic growth and well-being for students, staff and families.
- Focus on Learning: Designing innovative, forward-thinking learning experiences that spark curiosity and prepare students for the future.
- A Collaborative Culture: Building powerful, transparent partnerships between home, school, and the community.
- Attention to Results: Staying relentlessly focused on results, growth, and achieving excellence for every ONE and everyONE.
We encourage you to stay active, get involved, and connect with your school community. When school and home align, there is no limit to what our students can achieve.
Thank you for your continued partnership and for being a vital part of the Colquitt County School District family. We look forward to an incredible year of learning and achievement—as ONE Packer Nation!
