How to find a book using the Colquitt County High School Destiny Catalog:

Watch THIS VIDEO if you are not sure how to find a specific book or a genre in the library. And, don't forget--ASK us if you need help! That's why we are here.

EBooks

View the  Checking out eBooks video to learn how to read and download books from our eBook collection. We even have some audiobooks. There are nearly 500 books in the collection, including new books and classics, as well as study guides for ASVAB, SAT, and ACT.  You can also download the Sora app Sora app image from Google Play or the Apple store to listen or read on your own device. When you are logged into your school email account, you will find the Sora app in your "waffle". If you have any problems, stop in at the media center for help.

Resources on your Chromebook

Did you know there are "quick links" or "shortcuts" on your chromebook? If you look at the toolbar at the top you'll see "HS Bookmarks" on the left and of course, your waffle Google Waffle has other shortcuts. Take a look at THIS VIDEO to find out what else is easily available to you.

Welcome to the Colquitt County High School Media Center. Hours are 7:30 AM to 3:45 PM. Students may come before or after school, during lunch, or with a pass from their classroom teacher.

Here at the CCHS Media Center, you will find everything you need to fill your research and informational needs, on the shelves or online. Our goal is to ensure that students graduate as competent and ethical users of information, with strong intellectual curiosity and a life-long love of reading.

Dr. Youse regularly receives ARCs (Advance Reader Copies) of books. An ARC is a book released BEFORE it is published and available to the general public. You may have one to keep, IF you submit a review for the book. To read reviews from other CCHS students, visit our GoodReads feed.

If you'd like to watch a movie from our video database (Swank), check the list above and email one of us your request. We'll authorize the movie for you.

If you'd like to learn how to check out an eBook, visit THIS VIDEO.

Sometimes we need to 'weed' the collection (get rid of stuff). Sometimes we make things out of the weeded materials. Take a look!
