CCHS SUMMER SCHOOL INFORMATION

June 1st - 24th, Monday - Thursday; 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Welcome to the 2026 Summer School program at Colquitt County High School. We are happy to announce that this year’s program is face-to-face and free of charge. Spaces for summer school are limited so be sure to register early.

Summer school is for two purposes:

1. Course Repair/Unit Recovery - students may repair a class they failed in the Spring semester with a grade of 60 - 69. The grade will be changed to a 70 on their transcript. If the course is not repaired in Summer school, the student will have to retake the entire course.

2. Credit Recovery/Course Completion- Students may retake a course failed with a grade below 60. The student will receive the grade earned on the Edgenuity program, but the failing grade will also remain on the transcript.

If a student is taking an EOC course, they must take the EOC test. EOC testing will be in June.  You will be made aware of the date and time of your test.

Students must attend daily for the full four hours to obtain credit. Three tardies will equal one absence.  After three absences, the student will be dismissed from summer school, and credit will not be earned.  A written excuse, according to the student handbook guidelines, must be given to Wendy Murphy for any absence. Once the student completes their course(s), they will no longer be required to attend.

No transportation will be provided.  Students will have the opportunity to pick up grab and go bags for breakfast and lunch.

Students must adhere to the rules established during regular school hours including behavior, cell phone usage, and dress code. Summer school is a privilege and violations of the CCHS Code of Conduct may result in termination from summer school.

Please complete the Google Form (linked below) to sign up for Summer School no later than May 27th.

Thank you,
