At its February 2022 meeting, the Colquitt County Board of Education recognized student-athletes and their accomplishments this season. Wrestlers: Austin Paradice-State Champion, Logan Paradice-State Champion, Nate Taylor-State Champion, Ethan Sellers-2nd place, Jesus Grijalva-5th place, Michael Bledsoe-5th place, Russel Flowers-5th place, Kel'sea Whitaker-5th place. Coaches: Head Coach Benji Scarbor and Assistant Coaches: Wilder Elliott, Roger Ketchum, Bret Little, and Rose Harrell. What A Packer Point of Pride!
Last year's 2021-2022 team was the best in school history placing 2nd in state as a team and having 3 individual state champions. We are looking for another successful season!
Five seniors received wrestling scholarships to wrestle in college.
Grades: 6th, 7th and 8th
- Practice begins Monday Sept 26th until 5:30
- Student can catch the activities bus 51(driven by Coach Little) from their school to The Wrestling Room located behind the old high school gym
- Must have completed physical
- If you are currently in another sport come out when the season is over.
- No wrestling experience needed.

- Full Varsity and Junior Varsity schedule
- Regular season practice starts Oct 24
- Preseason practice starts Sept 26 Monday-Thursday until 5:00
- Students can ride the activities bus 51(driven by Coach Little) or be dropped off at the wrestling room behind the old high school gym
- If you are currently in another sport come out when the season is over
- Must have a current physical
- No experience needed.

Required:
- wrestling shoes
- team shorts and shirt ($25)
- mouthpiece (if you have braces)
Not Required:
- knee pads
- head gear
- other clothing
Parents and guardians are asked to assist througout the seaons with home tournaments and in providing snacks for the wrestlers before meets. There is one home tournament per team.
We host a golf tournament and ask players and families to help get sponsors for the tournament.
