Welcome Dr. Pitchford!
Dr. Pitchford is excited to join the GEAR Family! He has served in the Colquitt County School District for 22 years (15 years at CCHS and 7 years at Sunset Elementary). At CCHS he taught math and then became an academic coach. At Sunset Elementary he served as the assistant principal. He strives to instill a love of learning in all of our students. His goal, each day, is to support our students to help them be the best learners they can be and to support our staff to help them be the best educators they can be. He is looking forward to a great year at GEAR!
Dr. Pitchford shared a few of his favorite things.

Location: The mountains
Subject in school: Math, but I really like all subjects because I like learning new things.
