This quote is one of the biggest reasons I enjoy being a high school counselor. The reward that comes from seeing students grow into authentic versions of themselves is an immeasurable reward. In a world dictated by comparison, it is a privilege to watch students realize THEIR path is the right path. I enjoy the team aspect of our counseling department and how well we all work together.
