Meeting Announcement:
Attention Home School Parents/Guardians, Head Masters, or Program Directors in accordance with the Individuals with Disabilities Improvement Act of 2004 (IDEIA 2004), each local school system must conduct "Child Find" in an effort to identify children who may need special education services.
On behalf of the Colquitt County School System, please join us as we meet and endeavor to identify students in need of special education and related services who are either enrolled in private elementary or secondary schools, or who are home schooled. At this meeting, we will discuss Colquitt County's plan to provide required services through the Program for Exceptional Children as needed for the 2025-2026 school year.
The meeting will be held at the Colquitt County PEC Conference - located at 710 Lane Street, Moultrie, GA 31768 at 12:00 p.m. on Oct.2, 2025.
