Academics

Students at GEAR receive gifted instruction in every subject area for third, fourth, and fifth grade. They are also exposed to the Arts, Music, and Drama curriculum in various ways. To be eligible to attend GEAR, students must be evaluated under the District's Gifted Services process. Once they have completed the evaluation process and are identified as a gifted learner, they can apply to attend GEAR.
