POSITIVE BEHAVIOR INTERVENTIONS AND SUPPORT (PBIS)
School-Wide Expectations
Our school-wide expectations are:
•Be Respectful
•Be Responsible
•Follow Routine
Every area of the school has specific rules for each expectation, ensuring these expectations remain consistent throughout the entire school.
Every student must be aware of the expectations and rules for each area of the school. These are taught during the first week of school each year as part of our rituals and routines. School-wide expectations are hung throughout the school building for visibility and teaching moments.
Acknowledgments
To reinforce our school-wide expectations, students in grades Prek through 2nd grade will be acknowledged with RB Bucks when they display one of the "3 Rs". They will spend their bucks on monthly incentives. Third through fifth graders will attend quarterly incentives based on behavior. Students will also be able to use their R. B. Bucks for classroom incentives.
PBIS helps make RBW an even more positive place for your child to learn while also teaching valuable life skills, inlcuding showing respect to others, being responsible, and making positive choices.
