Please review the information below to help ensure smooth arrival and dismissal procedures for all students.
Morning Drop Off | Afternoon Dismissal Maps
MORNING ARRIVAL
Student Arrival Begins at 7:00 AM
For the safety of all students:
- Students may not be dropped off before 7:00 AM.
- Staff members are not on duty before 7:00 AM, and students will not be supervised.
- Early drop-offs create a serious safety concern and cannot be accommodated.
- Thank you for helping us keep every child safe by arriving at or after 7:00 AM.
Car Rider Drop-Off
- All morning car riders should be dropped off in the front of the school.
- Staff members will be outside beginning at 7:00 AM to assist students.
- Please remain in your vehicle.
- Pull forward as directed before students exit.
- Students should be ready to exit the vehicle promptly with their belongings to help keep the line moving efficiently.
- For everyone’s safety, please do not pass other vehicles in the car rider line.
- ROAD CLOSURE: 5th Ave SW between South Main Street and 1st Street SW will be closed
Bus Riders
- School buses will unload on the cafeteria side of the building in the designated bus loading area.
- Staff members will supervise students as they enter the building.
AFTERNOON DISMISSAL
2:35 PM - Students are dismissed.
Car Rider Pick-Up
- Afternoon car riders will be picked up in the front of the school.
- Please remain in your vehicle throughout dismissal.
- Pull forward as directed by staff.
- Display your official Stringfellow car rider tag each afternoon.
- If you do not have your tag, you may be asked to present identification before your child is released.
- Please be patient during the first week of school as everyone learns the procedures. The dismissal process becomes much faster once routines are established.
- ROAD CLOSURE: 5th Ave SW between South Main Street and 1st Street SW will be closed
Bus Riders
- School buses will load on the cafeteria side of the building.
- Staff members will supervise students as they board their assigned bus.
Transportation Changes
For your child’s safety:
- Transportation changes should be communicated to the school before 1:30 PM whenever possible.
- Last-minute transportation changes may not be able to be accommodated due to dismissal preparations.
