Working with and around children brings with it some important responsibilities for employees. These responsibilities must be reviewed carefully each school year. The following is a list of School Board Policies and other employment-related protocols to be reviewed annually.

 To complete the required review, each employee should

• Discuss the material with his/her administrator if there are  questions about the responsibilities associated with any of the issues.

• Sign-off  as directed by his/her administrator  when  the required reviews are completed and  all expectations and requirements are understood. The employee's signature serves to confirm that he or she has read and understands all expectations and requirements.

c. Educators are required to report reasonable suspicion of child abuse or neglect. This "Mandated Reporter" requirement is part of Georgia Law (O.C.G.A.§ 19-7-5).
